Terms of Service & Sweepstakes Contest Rules 

This Terms of Service constitutes a legally binding agreement between IDG Media/TechTipsToGo.com (We, Us, Our) and Contest Participant (Participant, You, Your) regarding your use of the IDG Media website and contest platform. This contest is offered subject to your acceptance without modification of this Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, and all other policies that may be published from time to time on the platform.

All cancellations must be done on our website.If you need any assistance please contact us so we can assist with the cancellation.

Please read this Terms of Service carefully before participating in any contest on the platform. If you do not agree with the Terms of Service, do not participate in any contests on this platform. If you create an account or participate in contests on the platform, it is an indication that you agree to be bound by these Terms.

  1. If you use IDG Media to participate in a contest, you are responsible for abiding with the rules of that promotion, including:
  • The official rules;
  • Offer terms and eligibility requirements such as age and residency restrictions; and
  • Compliance with applicable rules and regulations governing the promotion and all prizes offered.
  1. You must not inaccurately tag content or encourage other users to inaccurately tag content.
  2. Your participation in the contest indicates a complete release of IDG Media by you.
  3. You agree that if you to participate in the contest, you do so at your own risk.
  4. You agree and acknowledge that:
  • You will carefully read the instructions before getting involved;
  • You will abide by the official rules for the Promotion;
  • You must be 18 years old or older to participate in the contest;
  • You will release IDG Media from all claims based on, related to, or arising from the contest;
  • You will abide by all of our other community and usage guidelines, including IDG Media’s Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and Privacy Policy.
  1. You agree and acknowledge that you will not:
  • Use any of our products or services’ names, trademarks, logos or other intellectual property except as necessary to comply with the contest rules;
  • Encourage illegal or illicit behavior;
  • Encourage spammy behavior, such as asking other participants to send posts to friends;
  • Violate or encourage others to violate our Terms of Service, Contest Policy, or Privacy Policy.
  • Platforms owned and operated by Facebook, Twitter and Google such as Youtube have no affiliation to IDG Media / TechTipsToGo’s sweepstakes or contest giveaways. We are independent of these platforms and have no involvement with IDG Media / TechTipsToGo social profiles/pages.
  1. No purchase is necessary to win and or to enter in contests.
  2. IDG Media will not be responsible for any taxes or receipts for any prize that you may enter for and win.
  3. All contests are void where prohibited.
  4. If buying cryptocurrencies in your country is prohibited, then you acknowledge and agree to perform independent research and apply only if deemed right.
  5. Sponsorship: If IDG Media/TechTipsToGo has been sponsored in any way. IDG Media will advise of all paid or sponsored posts, videos or giveaway/contest prizes.
  6. Winner announcements will be announced on one of our social platforms such a Telegram, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube.
  7. Winner Selection Process: IDG Media uses platforms such as Sweepwidget and gleam to run contest giveaways and sweepstakes. Winners have a chance to increase their chances of winning by entering and sharing the content but all winner are randomly drawn.

Refund Policy. All online courses, membership fees, and all other fees paid on our platform are non-refundable. Your continued use of the platform represents your acceptance of this policy.

In no event will IDG Media, or its suppliers or licensors, be liable with respect to any subject matter of this agreement under any contract, negligence, strict liability or other legal or equitable theory for any loss, failure or delay arising from your participation in the contest.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IDG Media, its contractors, and its licensors, and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from and against any and all claims and expenses, including attorneys' fees, arising out of your use of the platform in participating in contests, including but not limited to your violation of this Agreement.

If any part of this Agreement is held invalid or unenforceable, that part will be construed to reflect the parties' original intent, and the remaining portions will remain in full force and effect.

A waiver by either party of any condition of this Agreement or any breach thereof, in any one instance, will not waive such term or condition or any subsequent breach thereof.

You may assign your rights under this Agreement to any party that consents to, and agrees to be bound by, its terms; IDG Media may assign its rights under this Agreement without condition. This Agreement will be binding upon and will inure to the benefit of the parties, their successors and permitted assigns.

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between IDG Media and you concerning the subject matter hereof, and they may only be modified by a written amendment signed by an authorized executive of IDG Media, or by the posting by IDG Media of a revised version.

This Agreement, any access to or use of the Website will be governed by the laws of Ontario, without regard to its conflict of law provisions, and the proper venue for any disputes arising out of or relating to any of the same will be the courts located in Ontario.
